Olivier Coste New Star Rosé-2023

Soft, rounded and fruity dry organic rosé from the Languedoc.

One of Olivier Coste’s ‘Languedoc Stars’ series of fresh, fruity, modern and approachable wines celebrating the grapes and typical wines of his region. This soft and fresh rosé is a classic blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes harvested from certified organic vineyards in the cool of the night in order to perfectly capture that freshness. Light and refreshing with aromas of strawberry and wild red berry fruit with crisp citrus notes that follow through onto the palate. With a mellow mouthfeel and well balanced this is a super approachable southern French rosé.

Olivier Coste comes from a long line of winemakers. His family owns and runs the well-known Domaine de Montrose near Pézenas in the Languedoc. With his own label, Olivier enjoys pushing boundaries and trying new techniques. His ‘Languedoc Stars’ range focuses on traditional regional grape varieties, grown in a way that produces low yields and concentrated, aromatic fruit. They also make a point of being carbon neutral and follow sustainable and organic practices in their vineyards. It’s a nice balance of respecting tradition while looking ahead to the future
