Roger Manceaux is five generations in the industry and exists because Roger did well in his school exams – the story goes that Roger was offered a plot of land or a bicycle if he did well at school. With great insight, Roger Manceaux now owns a total of 12ha dotted across different Premier and Grand Cru Villages. The magic of Roger Manceaux is the ability to produce many different styles and flavours from the different grapes and terroirs.

TOP 10 Cuisine Magazine 2023

A delicious champagne with flavours of peach, strawberry, cherry and red apple. It matches well with exotic lightly spiced foods and barbecued meats.

Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier:
Hues of Atlantic salmon with a faint pink rim lead to a bouquet and palate flavours of peach and strawberry, cherry and red apple, roses and a core of bread and brioche autolysis. A decisive wine with power and intrigue, harmony and clarity. A dry wine touches the palate with a core of fruit flavours then autolysis, the mousse with plush and a forceful with a fine bubble and freshness. The flavours of strawberry and roses are persistent adding to the length and charm of this delicious wine. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030.
96 Points (= “Outstanding”), Nov 2023.
Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews:

Bright, peach-pink with some depth, even colour throughout. The bubbles are very fine and persistent. The nose is soft, growing in richness, aromas of baked strawberry tart, ripe stonefruit, cherry syrup melded with creamy autolysis. Medium-full bodied, flirtatious aromas of raspberry, baked strawberry tart, cherry syrup and nectarine enriched by toast, pastry and a creamy veil. The fruit is succulent and expressive, supported by a vibrant acid line, along with chalky minerals provide a light grip. Creamy & toasty autolysis are well-proportioned, broaden the palate and add interest. This is a juicy, well-balanced Brut Rosé with generous berry fruit and creamy autolysis. Match with venison tartare and crispy-skinned salmon over the next 3-5 years. 18.5+/20 pts (94pts) Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, Dec 2021.

8th Place in Cuisine Magazine Blind Tasting 2023: A gorgeous mid-pink colour with aromas of strawberry, chocolate, red apple and florals on the expressive nose. The palate is medium bodied yet delicate and clean with sublime texture, chalky tannins, red berry juiciness culminating in a lengthy finish. Oct 2023.
