Wine Review | Belasco de Baquedano “Llama” Malbec 2021

Belasco de Baquedano “Llama” Malbec 2021

Belasco de Baquedano is a leading winery located in the Mendoza region of Argentina. The original Malbec vines were first planted in 1910 and these old vines consistently produce wines that are full-bodied, juicy and layers of complex flavours.

This Malbec wine is made from 100% Malbec grapes and aged for 6 months in oak barrels.

The Malbec has a deep purple black hue, elegant aromas of plums, blueberries, cassis, violet flowers and mint with ripe strawberries and dark fruit on the palate, and finishes with well-integrated creamy tannins, bright acidity and moderate oak. This wine will pair well with an open fire barbecued beef steak or slow roasted lamb, aged blue stilton cheese or a rich creamy wild mushroom risotto. RRP $32 Free shipping in Whanganui
